Instagram Features That Will Help You In Your Business Promotion

Instagram has provided some new ideas for creative ways to use Instagram Stories advertisements. Nowadays it is one of the most efficient methods of generating visitors to your blogs and websites.

1. Don’t Use Banned Hashtags On The Post

Not all hashtags are in the same way buy instagram followers cheap. Utilizing one or more of the hashtags that Instagram has banned may cause you to be in hot water and being ignorant isn’t an excuse.

Although some hashtags that are banned are quite common sense and comply with Instagram’s Terms of Service, some aren’t quite so obvious. According to HuffPo, the banned list includes #citycentre, #adulting, and #eggplant. Research the hashtags you use carefullyand make sure they’re relevant to your audience and don’t have an obscure, urban dictionary, or emojis that you did not know about… (Not that it’s ever occurred to me!)

2. Use A Third Party Posting App

Instagram has a closed API- it does not permit third-party applications to post directly on Instagram. It is possible to utilize a social media platform such as Agorapulse in order to control your Instagram account but the process is a little more complicated than Facebook and Twitter.

Most legit social media management software works around the problem. For example, you can connect to your Agorapulse account and set up your Instagram post.

When the time comes you’ll get a message. You’ll then be able to log into the Agorapulse app , which will bring you to Instagram which you can click publish. The important thing is that you should be the one that hits publish.

However, while that’s the way we do it however, there are other applications such as Schedugram which post directly to Instagram for you, using only your user username and password to login to your account. This is a big A&Cs no. Jumping through a few extra hoops may be difficult, but it also keeps your account safe.

3. Don’t Post Too Much Content

Instagram favors real, human users and all the rules and guidelines are intended to help them gain a foothold over spammers and bots. Although Twitter offers apps such as Social Quant that can automatically follow and unfollow an array of users to increase your following, Instagram frowns on that kind of behavior. This is why they have an unofficial limit on account activity.

What exactly are those numbers? Although Instagram hasn’t officially released numbers, Ana Gotter did some in deep study and came up with the following numbers:

Unfollowing and following more than 60 people in an hour

Liking more than 300 posts per hour.

More than 60 comments are posted per hour

4. Stay Away From The Robots

Look. In any other situation I’ll be the first to discuss the potential of bots in automating your marketing process however, that’s not the point Instagram is about.

Bots that automatically comment and follow/ unfollow people can be a tempting method to build your following. You’ll be the kind of person who makes use of them responsibly, right? But, in reference to Rule 3, this kind of conduct will be noticed for all the wrong reasons. Make sure that your interactions are human

There are no hard and simple rules about how to make sure your Instagram posts are working for you. There is only a few rule of thumbs and I think Neil Patel, author and Internet entrepreneur, nail some of them within an essay.

But I’ll try to keep it short in case you don’t have the time to go through each of them by yourself. I’ll adjust the importance based on the things I consider important to an Instagram post without getting bogged down.

Invest in a Good Picture

There’s no need to ensure that all of your posts must be postcard-ready . All you need is a few good quality pictures that highlight the best of your products. There was once a food delivery company that I followed on Twitter who served the best food but also had the most poorly lit images on Instagram. I considered it an unrealized opportunity and asked them to tweak their photos a bit with filters prior to posting them. They did so and their photos have been mouth-watering ever since!

Get Personal

Give your Instagram account an avatar that they can connect to or post a behind-the-scene image. There’s a valid reason why people seek out BTS YouTube videos prior to or after watching the latest TV show or movie. Human beings are curious that way. When they connect with you, they’re half-way hooked.

Be Funny, Be Quirky, Be In-the-Know, Be Cool or Any One of Those

If you can’t be funny, be quirky. If you can’t be quirky be informed. If you’re not in the know Be cool. Choose a niche. So that people will know you each time they glance around the corner. They can see your name from the side of their eyes and know it’s you and they’re intrigued all over again. That’s branding.

Get an Influencer

I was born in the days and age when you call someone an influencer, your parents probably believed that they were drug dealers. In the age of digital influencers are people with a huge audience on their social media profiles. If you can afford to hire one of those YouTubers or Instagrammers to showcase your product or service excellent. If you don’t, look for someone who is affordable and you can collaborate with, and preferably in the same sector, but not your competitor. Did have I really need to mention this? =) The is an internet list which shows those that have an International platform. If you’re going local do not be afraid to discuss with them.

Use Instagram Ads

If you stick within your budget and make an appealing short video Make sure you do it. You shouldn’t be spending thousands on ads, but you should be. When you’ve divided costs between Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google, you might enjoy an average return. The thing you’re hoping to get at the end the day, are eyeballs.

Run Contests and Encourage Positive Engagement

Posts with something unique or basic will awe those of us who are the most skilled. Some people will try their best to win a notebook, a pair of tickets at a theme park some hand lotion or holiday lotion, tickets to the airport or even an instrument grand. If it’s free, not many will complain. And besides, compared with Facebook, Instagram’s got lesser rules to follow… currently.

Use Hashtags

I don’t have enough to say about how many people are using hashtags wrongly. You don’t post a picture of your baby and use a hashtag like #AngieandBobsBabyisSoCute. 1) The hashtag isn’t being used by anyone else, that hashtag so it’s an unnecessary useless waste of time (and space); 2) It is best to use a hashtag that people can find and are already using. 3.) Find similar posts for inspiration , and like for exposure. You can also come up with your own hashtag that you like and spread it around the world. I mean, EVERYWHERE so that your friends, family and fans will be using the hashtag too. This is the goal of hashtags.
